Date night in for Valentines!
Snuggle with your honey this Valentine's while watching a good movie. Here are a few of my favorite movies perfect for Valentines! I have included romances, comedy, and drama films.
Say Anything, 1989 - Starring John Cusack and Ione Skye
I love, love this movie! John Cusack kick-boxing! Young love.

The Notebook, 2004 - Starring Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, Gena Rowlands, and James Garner.
Pure romance! The book is great too! Love is timeless.

Thomas Crown Affair, 1999 - starring Pierce Brosnan, Rene Russo, Denis Leary
This movie is so much fun! A Drama/Romance, even your guy would like this one! I also love the soundtrack to this movie!

I love Cinderella theme films! A classic fairytale story.

Overboard, 1987 - Starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
This is a funny film all moms will love! Dads might get a kick out of it as well. A funny comedy.

The Painted Veil, 2006 - starring Naomi Watts, Edward Norton
I was unsure about putting this on the Valentines list. This is an intense drama film about a couple...well I don't want to give it all away...but they sure do have a bumpy ride. Warning tears will be shed.

These are some of my faves. What are some of your favorite movies for Valentines Day?
The Notebook and Pretty Woman are probably two of my favorite movies ever!! It's funny, my fiance didn't even know who Julia Roberts was until last week when we watched Eat Pray Love. Anyway, I am your new follower from Friendly Friday.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE The Notebook!!
ReplyDeleteOh....The Notebook. Every woman alive deserves to have a Noah in their live. Sigh. I just LOVE that story.
ReplyDeletePretty Woman... love this one. Every prostitute out there deserves an Edward to come along to tell her she's more worthy than she thinks she is.
Good picks! I could watch these movies over and over again....
I cannot watch The Notebook without sobbing hysterically! I had to stop watching it. ;) I have not seen Say Anything, but of course everyone knows the iconic boom box scene. ;) Great movie picks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining my Weekend Bloggy Reading party! Have fun finding some new reads, and I hope you'll come back and visit Serenity Now again soon. :)
